Tongue twisters are a fun game intended to challenge our pronunciation, enunciation, and verbal agility. With their simple content, they can show our Chinese speaking skills. Let's take a look at the tongue-twisting skills of the Confucius Institute students and local teachers~

A组（A Group）

① 妈妈骑马，马慢，

  妈妈骂马。

(Mother rides a horse. The horse is slow; mother scolds the horse.)

② 四是四，十是十。

   十四是十四，

    四十是四十。

(Four is four; ten is ten; fourteen is fourteen; forty is forty.)

B组（B Group）

① 红鲤鱼与绿鲤鱼与驴

(Red carp, green carp, and donkey)

② 吃葡萄不吐葡萄皮儿，

     不吃葡萄倒吐葡萄皮儿。

(When eating grapes, don't spit out grape skins. However, when not eating grapes, spit out grape skins.)

C组（C Group）

① 黑化肥发灰，

     灰化肥发黑。

(Black fertilizer turns gray; gray fertilizer turns black.)

② 白石搭白塔，白塔白石搭。

     搭好白石塔，白塔白又大。

(White rocks are used to build a white tower; a white tower is built with white rocks. The finished white rock tower is so white and so big.)

D组（D Group）

① 大兔子，大肚子，

     大肚子的大兔子。

(Big rabbit, big belly, big rabbit with a big belly)

② 粉红墙上画凤凰， 

    红凤凰，粉凤凰，

    粉红凤凰，花凤凰。

(Paint phoenixes on the pink wall. Red phoenix, pink phoenix, pink-red phoenix, colorful phoenix.)

E组（E Group）

① 桥上吊刀，

     刀倒吊着。

(Hang a knife on a bridge. The knife is hung upside down.)

② 坡上卧着一只鹅，

     坡下流着一条河。

     哥哥说，宽宽的河；

     弟弟说，白白的鹅。

     鹅要过河，

     河要渡鹅。

     不知是鹅过河，

     还是河渡鹅？

(There is a goose lying on the slope, and there is a river below the slope. The elder brother said, “A wide river.” The younger brother said: “A white goose.” The goose must cross the river, the river must ferry the goose, I don’t know whether the goose crosses the river or the river ferries the goose.)
